Description:
I am a licensed psychologist, practicing in Sunnyvale's Murphy Square neighborhood. I offer a warm and supportive environment which affirms the diversity of each individual. I enjoy helping people to find creative ways to solve problems and become more fully themselves.
I have lots of experience working with members of the poly, kink/bdsm, bisexual, HIV+, and LGBT communities. I am the author of What Psychology Professionals Should Know About Polyamory. Other specialties include relationship counseling, depression, anxiety, substance and internet addictions, codependency, and self-acceptance. I am available for consultation with other therapists as well.
I am a provider with Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, ComPsych, Magellan, Medicare, Pacificare, UBH, UHC, and US Behavioral Health Plan. If you are on a different plan that reimburses for sessions with out-of-network providers, I am happy to provide you with a statement reflecting your payments that you can submit to them in turn. I am happy to work with clients on a private pay basis as well.
My office is wheelchair-accessible, and is very close to the Sunnyvale Caltrain station.
