Description:

At its heart, psychotherapy is a creative, collaborative process between therapist and client/s in which change is facilitated through an authentic human connection. I like to work relationally, bringing the "here and now" into the therapy room for client and therapist together to notice relationship dynamics and unconstructive patterns in a gentle, nonjudgmental and direct style.
Psychotherapy can be a constructive way to work through depression and anxiety, learn to handle anger and other intense emotions, deal with the grief and pain of loss and death, explore issues around body image, self-esteem, and blocks to building positive self-regard. I welcome a dialogue about socioeconomic and cultural context, as these factors in our lives have a direct impact on our emotional well-being.

I work with lesbian, gay, bi and pansexual, queer, straight, transgender, gender variant, genderqueer, and intersex adults. I am committed to providing an open, culturally competent space for those identified with or exploring polyamory/nonmonogamy, kink/BDSM, butch/femme, and other frontiers of sexuality and intimacy. Individuals, couples, and triads/trios are all welcome.

I am a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, #IMF59099, supervised by Cindy Blackett, MFT #MFC34867.
